After obtaining a top 4 finish in the Zonal Competition, the senior football team went on to participate in the National’s in Term 2. Having obtained a 4th place finish this year, they were determined to perform much better in the National’s competition and they did just that. They had a fantastic competition and went all the way to the finals of the competition to everyone’s surprise. Enroute to the finals, the team had to meet a number of traditionally good teams. They really stretched themselves and worked hard for each other to overcome the worthy opponents. Unfortunately, the team went down 3-4 in the finals through a last minute winner to Zhenghua Primary in extra time. Nevertheless, the boys had learnt much along the journey and achieved another milestone by being the first CCA Team in Zhonghua to reach the finals of a National’s competition to achieve 2nd position. Well done boys!
